Cassell & Co, London, England, 1954. First Edition. Hardcover (Full Leather). As New/No Dust Jacket. Full leather bindings, each is a First Edition published between 1948-1954. Incredible condition. Size: 8mo - over 7 3/4" - 9 3/4" tall. 4448 pp. 6-volume set (complete). Pages are tight and clean. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges gilt - bright, rich condition. Synopsis
Winston Churchill (1874-1965) led Britain through WWII as Prime Minister. In his last years he was often described as “the greatest living Englishman.” He was knighted in 1953 and won the Nobel Prize for Literature the same year.
