Spine slightly tilted, light chafing to extremities, small perforation to front joint. Orig. glassine dust wrapper is aged and heavily chipped. A biographical work by later Prime Minister Mackenzie King about his friend who died attempting to save Miss Bessie Blair from drowning in while skating on the Ottawa River in 1901 at age 27.
