New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1934. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. A Dana Girls Mystery. First Edition, with 3 Dana Girls titles listed on copyright page, ending with Shadow of the Tower. Pinkish purple cloth boards with black lettering and silhouette of the Dana Girls holding a magnifying glass. Green illustrated endpapers. Four glossy illustrations, including frontispiece. Condition is Good+ to VG. A little edgewear to the boards and sunned spine. Slightly slanted. Front endpaper has a 1 1/2" split on crease at the hinge, but still holding. Text is still very nice. Small ink stain on front board. 1934 hardcover.
