Price-clipped dust jacket lightly worn and stained along edges. Boards with minor shelfwear. Binding is sound. Staining to top edge and remainder mark to bottom, but interior otherwise unmarked. A Very Good.

Prouty served as Chief of Special Operations of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under President Kennedy. He later became a critic of the C.I.A. and U.S. military foreign policy, which he believed was working for a secret world elite. He was the inspiration for "Mr. X," played by Donald Sutherland, in the Oliver Stone film JFK.
