1904 hardcover as pictured. One of several maritime novels by the avid sportsman James Connolly. Connolly holds the distinction of being the first gold medalist of the modern Olympic games in 1896 where he won the first event. Binding is intact. Green cloth boards with black, white and gold stamping are rubbed with slight fraying at head and tail of spine and at corners. Front hinge lightly cracked at title page.
