London: Longmans, Green, and Co, 1890. Revised edition. Leather bound. Very Good. 403pp. Octavo [22 cm] Elegantly bound in purple leather with raised bands, a gilt stamped title on the spine, and single blind-ruled borders on the boards. All edges gilt. Lavish gilt turn-ins. The spine is sunned and the edges of the boards are faintly sunned. There is a contemporary owner's name, along with the date "December 10th, 1906" in small, neat pen on the front flyleaf. Edited with A Revised Text, Introduction, Translation and Notes by J. W. Mackail Fellow of Balliol College, Oxford.
