First edition, first printing (with full number line). Burgundy cloth boards with silver lettering on spine and front cover. Bit of light foxing to fore-edge of text block; slight foxing to a few pages. Small spot at foot of title page, else clean. Dust jacket shows a bit of chipping at spine ends and other general edgewear; not price clipped; in an archival mylar sleeve. xviii, 299 pages. The final published volume by the American poet, Aloysius Michael Sullivan (1896-1980), being a collection of poems, most of which were previously published in the years 1932 to 1968. Sullivan was a native of New Jersey and a long-time resident of that state. He served five terms as the president of the Poetry Society of America.
