I desired my dust to be mingled with yours First edition, first impression, signed limited issue, number 84 of 100 copies printed on handmade paper and signed by the author. The signed issue was published on 10 December 1928, following the trade issue of 23 November. In his introduction to this important edition of Pound's poetry, T. S. Eliot gives an extended commentary on the originality of Pound's work, his influences ("Browning and Yeats... Swinburne and William Morris"), and the ways he has been read and misread by some of his contemporaries. Octavo. Original quarter vellum, grey paper boards, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Ownership signature to front free endpaper. Spine lightly soiled, as often, hint of wear to extremities, small ink stain to p. ix, contents otherwise clean. A very good copy. Gallup, Pound, A30b; Eliot B10b.
