Good condition, doctored at corners, closed tears and effective subltle coloring to edges, head and heel. Light rubbing to rear wrap, and tape at top and bottom. Endpaper and half title are deeply but evenly clipped. Lewis' first collection of short stories - "mellow, brilliant, sometimes satirical pictures of American folkways." (dj).
