About This Item

London: Constable, 1955. VG+/Good. First edition, second impression in d/w not price clipped. Practical advice on the writing and marketing of short stories. This is a book of practical advice and information. The author, who is a well-known literary agent, assumes that the reader is a would-be-writer; in part two she deals with plot and construction, in part three she deals with magazines and broadcasting. Light spotting to edges; number written on front paste-down; d/w has losses to head and tail of spine, and corners of the d/w; else a very good plus copy, in a good only d/w, of a SCARCE first edition, second impression. D/w now protected in a detachable, non-adhesive, clear sheaf.. First Edition, Second Impression. Very Good Plus/Good.
