New York: Moffat, Yard and Company, 1911. Hardcover. Very Good. Revised edition (the revised edition is approximately twice as long as the first edition). Octavo. 235, [2]pp. Illustrated. Red cloth gilt with applied pictorial onlay. Cloth a little soiled and spine lettering a little sunned, still a very good copy. Nicely Inscribed by the author on the front fly. Additionally, tipped to the front pastedown is a gelatin silver photograph of the author with her dog and two large birds, captioned by her as being taken in Kissimmee in 1914. Book details the author's efforts on behalf of the Seminole tribe in Florida, and in furthering environmental efforts towards preserving the Everglades.
