Old ink manuscript foliation ("271") in upper outer corner recto. (1 l.). *** Attempts to curtail corruption in the salt trade between Brazil and Portugal. Pernambuco is mentioned twice.*** Marqués de Pombal: catálogo bibliográfico e iconográfico 197. Not in JCB, Portuguese and Brazilian Books; cf. 757/24—a different edition (ours has the catchword "o não" on p. [1]; the JCB copy has the catchword "taes" among other differences in settings of type; text appear to be the same. Not located in Porbase.
