London, Paris & Melbourne: Cassell and Company, 1896. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Rich blue cloth over beveled boards, spine lettered in gilt. T.e.g. Glorious dove gray endsheets with the Cassell "La Belle Sauvage" medallion as motif. First edition, with a four page "Important Works ...," and the first state of the terminal catalogue, dated "6G - 8.96." Spine a bit faded, but a good copy overall with the bookplate of the Grolier Bibliophile and bookplate collector, Dorothy Furman.
