New York: Scribners, 1896. First Edition. Octavo. 478pp., illustrated by William Hatherell. Coming of age in the 19th century. The story of a young boy growing up during the hard times of the 19th century in London. The author later writes another Tommy story which eventually leads to his most famous story Peter Pan. Bound in Brown cloth lettered and decorated in green and gilt, spine gilt, previous owner's name dated 1903. A very nice copy.
