Washington square: David Mckay Company. Fair. 1940. 1st Ed?. HARDCOVER. 8X10" large. FAIRCond, orange covers quite pencil scribbled & soiled Dec Clothbound shows wear to spine ends, and points.Black titles and white ducklings are quite readable, and artsyness of covers is apparent, if disrespected. Solidly bound, and internal pages were spared most insuilt, altho the paper itself is a matte fiish, possibly showing depression era restrictions. Book still retains a cheerful attitude towards its own existance...with happy ducks & family thruout, and cherries & cherry blossom decorations to white endpapers.; np 32pg? thin pages; Letters to Marine Dog..has healing back legs in wheeled carrage .
