It takes place in New York, where Miller was born and raised and includes portraits of his many friends, lovers and acquaintances, and includes many reminiscences. Entertaining, funny, at times brutally honest, it brims with life, describes many escapades." CONDITION Grey bds with Silver title (clean) pp 506 bright and crisp copy, top cnrs of some pages have been folded down as markers with crosses inked to some of the cnrs at favoured pages causing loss to 2 top cnrs. DJ has some edge wear with tape reinforced spine ends and reapair to 3 short tears. Overweight. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
