First edition first printing ( with (1) on final page of text ) of this mystery novel that was made into the 1920 movie Elaine Hammerstein. There is a 3 inch semi closed tear to the front dustjacket panel at the edge of the spine. On the bottom edge of the rear panel there is a inch deep by inch wide U chip. Otherwise light chipping. In very good / fair condition.
