Moderate rubbing, brief pencil and small catalogue description affixed to front endpaper verso, half-title and frontis loose but present, a few splits, fading. ; Half green leather, marbled paper boards and endpapers, gilt spine titles and design, 5 raised bands and 6 compartments, top page edges gilt, original spine preserved on a rear endpaper. An scarce oddity, one of few issues retaining original black-and-white illustrated plates, not hand-colored. ; Ex-Libris; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 232 pages .
