London: Max Reinhardt, 1955. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition first printing 1955. Book is a solid square copy. The boards are clean and sharp, with softening to corners. Bumped and rubbed to spine ends. The text block edges have light toning and dusty top edge. The pages are crisp and clean. Previous booksellers pencil price to FEP. Feels very firmly bound and gently read. Book in very good condition. The jacket has small rubs and wear to edges and spine ends. Spine also has historic red sticker remnant. Rear white panel has grubby marks and a 3mm band of toning to top edge. Jacket grades good. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A solid copy of this classic Chad Oliver title, an uncommon title in the UK from the Earnshaw collection.
