New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1934. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Early printing, c. 1939. Hardcover, in dust jacket (turquoise-red-black-white colour scheme). Jacket lists seven Dana titles on front flap. Green top-edge dye, and green pictorial endpapers. Fading and edge-wear to covers; jacket is faded at spine, and split along rear spine fold, with loss to head and tail, as well as other extremities (now neat enough in archival mylar sleeve). Old owner's bookplate inside rear endpaper. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat -- a sound copy. Frontispiece. Last page is publisher's advertisement for six Lucy Maud Montgomery titles. vi,217+1[advert.]pp..
