Full dark red cloth with gilt letters and rules to front cover and spine, color frontispiece by Elenore Plaisted Abbott, 7-5/8" tall, 291 pp. Dulling to spine panel. The only collection of short stories by the Pulitzer Prize winning Southern author. Four of the stories can be classified as ghost stories, although they were not marketed as such originally.
