About This Item

Columbus: F.J. Heer, 1907. 415 pp. Very good with names in pencil on the rear fly leaf. Surprising scarce with no copies currently for sale online. Inscribed to Elbert Hubbard in 1908 on the front flyleaf.

This work gathers the various articles written by MacLean on the Shakers in one volume. MacLean salvaged a startling amount of Shaker material and even issued rare book catalogs to promote institutional collecting of Shaker material.
