Ernest Benn, London., 1927. First edition thus. Large quarto. pp c, 110. Following the text there are five pages of black and white illustrations by Paul Nash, three full-page, which in turn are followed by five colour plates by him with loose, unprinted tissue guards. Linen-backed boards. Issued in series The Players' Shakespeare. Ninety-one page Preface by Harley Granville-Barker. Printed at the Shakespeare Head Press under the direction of B.H. Newdigate. One of 450 numbered copies, out of a total edition of 612 copies.Faint crease to front free endpaper. Fine in very good dustwrapper slightly chipped and nicked at the edges a bit tanned at the spine and edges. A bright copy.
