The map, published by the Nichinichi newspaper company, shows the products of the countries of East Asia in little pictographs. At lower right is an inset table graphing trade with China, including steel, petroleum, rice, pigments and dyes, wood products etc. On the verso is text "news at a glance" with information on the provinces of China and of Manchuria. .
