Scarce, vintage volume containing Zen Buddhist teisho (lectures) given during a weeklong sesshin (retreat) at Lama Foundation in 1973, including question and answer session. Includes foldout Heart Sutra in Japanese with pronunciation and English translation. Illustrated with photos & drawings.

Boston: Chinese Service Bureau, c. 1937. Signed and stamped by author. Hardcover. No DJ. Library binding; yellow buckram over boards. Condition: Very Good. Boards show light soiling overall with some light abrasion to corners and spine edges. Interior is age-toned overall but is clean and without marks except for the author's signature on the front flyleaf and a previous owner's name and date inside the front cover.
