About This Item
The Ship of Adventure by Enid Blyton (Macmillan and Co. Ltd, [sixth] reprint 1958), with illustrations by Stuart Tresilian.
Originally published in 1950 and the sixth book in the "Adventure" series.
Hardback – publisher's decorated cloth, in dustwrapper. pp. viii, 328, including b/w illustrations. 8 x 5.25 inches approx. (203mm x 135mm).
Dustwrapper a little rubbed and worn, some creasing; small loss to lower corner tip of rear panel; spine faded and toned; foxing to flaps; light foxing visible to verso. Cloth clean and bright; bumped to spine ends, especially tail; bumped to lower edge of front board; occasional foxing and some dustiness but pages generally clean; some bumping to lower edge of page-block; light spotting to edges.
Nonetheless, remaining a particularly nice, clean copy – presents well.
