London: N. Hailes, 1824. Hardcover. Very Good. [Fine nautical binding] 12mo. Bound in straight grained, morocco leather. Gilt ruled and lettered. Nautical scenes embossed on front and back boards, and spine. All edges gilt. Minor rubbing/scuffing. Library bookplate and blind stamp on title page. viii. 116 pages. Frontispiece engraving by Cooke and engraved of the ship hovering on the verge of death. A descriptive account of the voyage of the merchantman, Britannia, from Egypt to Venice. The ship sailed into a violent storm, which drove it into the coast of Greece. Shipwrecked, only 3 of the crew survived.
