London : Chatto & Windus 1927. hard cover, dust jacket, orange cloth, gilt lettering, 376pp including appendix which is a bibliography of the author's published works (1899-1926), plus 4pp publisher's ads. ,edges and prelims. slightly foxed, spine of jacket is sun-darkened, slight insect damage to the front and back covers, jacket is now in a remoovable clear plastic sleeve, previous owner's name to free front endpaper, dated 17/6/29, this edition is printed in the US, although title page states London 1927, inside pages very clean and unmarked, binding firm, very good in good to very good dust jacket. photo available on request.
