A rare original copy on ochre red cloth with black embossed text and temple within frame. 180pp. Sepia frontispiece of a map of Bengal and several other bw illustrations and photographic reproductions. Cover worn with corners slightly frayed and bumped. Spine worn with tear as illustrated. Some shelf wear and loss to lower spine. Tanned endpapers. Minor foxing and very few ink marks and pencil marks.
