New York: Duell, Sloan & Pearce, 1941. First Edition. First printing Fine in decorated beige cloth covered boards with a gilt on brown title block on the spine. An octavo of 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. In a good, price clipped dust jacket with heavy wear and narrow chips to the folds and with and wear and rubbing to the upper and lower edges of the panels. The third volume in the American Folkways Series and one of the most difficult volumes to locate in the series. This series was edited and managed by Erskin Caldwell. 304 pages including an index. A very clean and neat copy with no prior ownership markings of any kind.
