Illustrated endpapers, both different, front end paper:  showing hours of admission to the sights of London, rear end paper:  a map of the London Underground Railway. At the beginning of the book there is a five, double, page map of London. Blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Dark blue coloured tint to the top textblock edge. A small guide of London, first published in 1924, to give the visitor who was time poor, a quick guide to points of interest within the metropolitan London area. Softening to the backstrip edges with rubbing of the book corners and to the book edges. Fading to the backstrip with flecking along the front edges of the book and to the right-hand edge of the rear panel. Browning of the textblock edges and pages. The map at the beginning of the text has a 2.5" tear. Browning of the textblock edges and pages. fifth Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], V - LIV, 266, [8  left blank for notes] pages,.
