Low of Chancery Lane, London, for The Law Society, with prize certificate on inside cover of Vol. I. Wonderful gilt design on front and spine of each and gilt very bright on outer edges. Contents clean and no inscription, barely any sign of ageing on contents, other than very mild tanning to some endpapers. The third edition of Green's History is recognised by many as the best edition, with many illustrations and pictures. Superb.
