Belfast, Ireland: Mayne, Boyd & Son, Limited, 1917. First Edition. Leather-bound. Very Good Plus. Quarto, 10.5 in. x 7.3 in, pp. ix, [3], 96. Illustrated with color frontis and dozens of tissue-guarded photographic plates. Three fold-out maps. Inscribed to T.V. Gilbert and signed by the author in ink on the front flyleaf. Luxuriously rebound in burgundy morocco with decorative ruling in blind over marbled boards. Gilt title on black panel, and four raised bands with gilt bandlines, to spine. Newer endpapers. Plastic sheath to rear pastedown to hold laid in items. Light age-toning to pages. In plastic casing adhered to rear pastedown:
Laid in: 1986 "Port of Belfast Bicentenary" special edition (eight newsprint pages), published by The Belfast Telegraph on September 25, 1985.
Laid-in: Glossy 6 in. x 8 in. undated black and white aerial photogaph of Belfast Harbor.
