First edition, in the publisher's original green cloth binding. Written by Edwards Roberts, with a preface by former United States Representative and historical editor, Charles Francis Adams. This informative travel book explores the Western Wonders of America, from the City of Denver to Pike's Peak, onwards to Shoshone and to the geysers of Yellowstone. With thirty five illustrations and a frontispiece of the Rocky Mountains. Collated, complete.With thirteen pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. In the publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally, smart, with slight rubbing to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. Small tear to the head of the spine. Light bumping to the extremities. Hinges slightly strained but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with a touch of age toning to the extremities. Very Good
