This treatise written not long after the Civil War which inspired it has for many years fulfilled a worthy place by its clean and forceful argument in defense of the principle of nonresistance. Written in time-honored question and answer mode it is still a good vehicle for giving practical help in answering the man questions that constantly recur with regard to war. A clean very presentable copy.
