About This Item
New York: E.P. Dutton & Company, 1954. Pictorial cloth. Very Good/Very Good. Paul Brown. NICELY INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR NANCY CAFFREY ("FOR JACK B. WARD--WITH MANY THANKS FOR SUPPLYING THE EQUINES SEEN ON BACK COVER"). A solid copy to boot of the 1954 stated 1st edition. Tight and VG (light cresing and one or two tiny closed tears along the front free endpaper) in a crisp, price-intact ($2.50) VG dustjacket, with light soiling and spotting to the rear panel and along the flap-folds. Still though very presentable. Octavo, illustrated throughout by the great Paul Brown (1893-1958).
