About This Item
London: Macdonald, 1985. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Interesting edition of this, Jonathan Kellerman's first novel, which won the Edgar Award in 1986. Published in the UK as "Shrunken Heads," by Macdonald, the book was issued the next year as a trade paperback by Futura, back under the original title of "When the Bough Breaks." This is a first edition of Shrunken Heads in a variant jacket which acted as a promotion for the Futura paperback. The jacket shows the paperback cover with some review blurbs below, and on the back has information regarding the advertising campaign, publishing and marketing, etc. as you would see on an advance copy. Near fine book with toning to pages in like jacket with some rubbing and soiling to rear panel.
