About This Item

London: J. B. Nichols and Son, 1828. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Full leather hardback professionally rebacked with matching gilt lettered leather spine. Showing well, firm and square, strong joints. Contents clean and tight. No pen-marks and not from a library so no such stamps or labels, just an old former owner heraldic bookplate at the pastedown. Size: Quarto (280mm x 225mm). Collation: pp. xxxii, 380, complete with hand-coloured frontispiece and more than one hundred hand- coloured coats of arms illustrated within the text. Thus a very presentable, well-bound book in better than very good condition.
