Very good first edition hardcover (Dent/Dutton, 1906, 296 pages) in brown cloth, bright gilt titles and front-cover pictorial; issued without dust jacket; top edge gilt; 10 photogravure plates with tissue-guards; pages clean, tight, unmarked, slightly darkened with age; binding sound and square; minor wear at corners; spine very slightly sunned; small whitish mark on front cover; 2 small black marks on spine; book was published with uncut pages; fore-edge is now deckled, several pages toward end of book remain uncut; previous owner's signature pencilled on flyleaf; a handsome, well-preserved first edition; on its way to you the same or next day in bubblewrap; email confirmation; standard (media) mail takes 4-14 days; expedited (priority) mail takes 2-5 days; international orders go by airmail (6-10 days).
