Very good in a good dust jacket (previous owner's name, some fading to edges of boards, overall edgewear to dj, some creasing, chipping at ends of spine and corner folds). Later printing. One of the 3 titles originally written by Walter Karig using the 'house name' of Carolyn Keene (all of the earlier titles had been written by Mildred Wirt Benson, but she refused to accept a reduction in the amount paid per manuscript - from $125 to $75) . This printing still has the original text of this early Nancy Drew title. Blue tweed cloth covers with dark blue silhouette of Nancy on front cover, blue multi-scene illustrated endpapers (Farah's format 16 used between 1959 and 1961). Illustrated. 217 pp.
