About This Item
This football center played for the Green Bay Packers (1953-63) and Philadelphia Eagles (1964-67) before coaching for a half dozen teams (1969-88); in 1981 he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Handsome, bold signature in black fineline on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, undated but with original transmittal envelope postally cancelled from Orchard, PA on19 November 1973. Fine. Accompanied by a fine, heavy stock 8" X 10" high-quality reproduction of artist Robert Riger's rendering showing Packers' Ringo being tackled by the Chicago Bears' Bill George.
