This German-born American photographer specialized in fashion photography. Signed First Day Cover, 6½" X 3½", cancelled in Princeton, New Jersey on 1979 March 4 and with "First Day of Issue" boldly stamped. Single 15-cent "Einstein" stamp at upper right. Fine. At lower left, in black ballpoint, Landshoff signs quite large and bold. This engraved portrait, an intimate closeup of Einstein in later years, is based on a photograph by Landshoff. Small portion of original transmittal envelope also present. Quite attractive and seldom seen.
