SIGNED by poet Lewis Warsh and artist George Schneeman and featuring an original drawing by Schneeman. A nice collaboration between poet and artist, two important figures in the New York School of poetry.

This slender chapbook contains one long poem in which Warsh muses about life in the East Village; the poem originally appeared in ZZ magazine. This volume is letter I of 26 special copies signed by Warsh (1944-2020) and Schneeman (1934-2009); there also was a trade edition of 500 copies. Cover and frontispiece illustration by Schneeman (the frontispiece is based on a photo by Rudy Burckhardt). SCARCE SIGNED.

CONDITION: Mild toning to the wrappers. Otherwise, clean and bright. A Very Good or better copy of a publication that is not often found signed by both the author and artist.
