Hardcover has gray cloth-covered boards with blue spine and cover lettering. Deckle fore edges. 16 color plates. 50 black and white illustrations. 366 pages. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Spine ends lightly bumped. Small nick in cloth at top edge of back cover. Pages clean and unmarked. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Dust jacket has light surface rubbing, chipped and nicked edges, and small tears; an old one-inch tear at the top of the front panel has been repaired with paper tape on the inside. Dust jacket is price clipped (both top and bottom corners of front flap). Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
