NY: Grosset & dunlop, 1928. First or early reprint edition. Hardcover. Very Good -/Very Good -. Reprint edition, bearing Penn Publishing copyright, 1928. Blue cloth covers, leaves heavily toned (pulp stock). Pictoorial dustjacket signed in by O Herford, with the O conjoined to the H, typical of Oliver Hereford, who became best known for authoring and illustrating his own books of comical whimsy, but who also in early days, especially, did commercial artwork, including book publishers.
