London: Catholic Truth Society, 1909. First Edition . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. xv, 344pp. With a preface by The Bishop of Birmingham. Ex-library. Several minor bumps to extremities of volume, with a few worn through areas to cloth and light wear spots in a few other places on exterior. This wear is not terribly offensive. Gilt lettering and decoration to spine and gilt lettering to front cover is clear and bright. Front hinge partially cracked, with several tears to paper over front and back hinges. Some browning to paper and light edge wear to pages. Text clean. A respectable and still fairly attractive copy. SCARCE first printing
