Edward Moxon, 1849. First edition. 8vo (8 x 5 inches), 304-pages. Contemporary full purple morocco, sides with decorative gilt border, spine with raised bands anf gilt in compartments and gilt lettered direct, all edges gilt, inner gilt dentelles. Joints and corners rubbed. Engraved bookplate "HARRIET" beneath a crown. Inscribed on verso of front free endpaper "Given me by Lady Chantrey Brighton 1853".
