London: William Heinemann, 1901. This is a very good hardcover copy bound in red cloth with gilt titles to front cover and spine. Spine faded, spotted. Generally very clean inside and out. Brief gift inscription in ink on one of the white endpapers, dated 1901. Top page edge gilt. This is a limited edition. 61 large copper plates + 8 small copper plates, all from photographs taken specially for this volume by T. and R. Annan and Sons. 8 of the large plates have stains in the right margin not affecting the image, the frontispiece has a small stain to the upper right corner of the margin, about 1/4" high X 1" wide. All plates have printed tissue guards. No foxing or other marks. 15" high X 12" wide, 121 pages. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.. Limited Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good.
