Top edge gilt, name on front endpaper, hinges have been re-glued, endpapers and page edges browned, frontispiece & pictorial title page (decoraated in red), many full page and text illustrations all by GORDON BROWNE, a few pages have been opened a little roughly, g++. lge 8vo, 406p + 6pp publisher's list.
