London: Macmillan & Co, 1886. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Walter Crane. None. None [6], 25, [43] p.: illustrations; 28 cm. Dark green cloth spine with gilt spine title and decoration. Green paper over boards with white and black title and illustration. All page edges green. Decorated endpapers. Illustrated title page. This is the first of three books of poetry that Crane both wrote and illustrated. The text is printed first with out illustrations and then in a ""handwritten"" font within the illustrations. In Good Condition: pages foxed edges rubbed; ends of spine just starting to fray; cover lightly soiled; soiling, primarily in the margins; illustrations are clean and bright.
